PRIVATE CARTS ALLOWED – Use your own cart on the course and store it in one of the cart sheds at the club. The current trail/storage fees:
Kept off course - $150/yr
Cart Shed- $260/yr
NO TEE TIMES REQUIRED – No need to call in advance to reserve a tee time. Play when you want to, not when a time is available. There may be a short wait to tee off during busy times but most times there is no waiting.
JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM – Get your children started off right in golf with the club’s junior golf program.
RECIPROCAL GOLF PROGRAM – Pay only $20 for 18 holes including cart at Ames C.C., Bent Tree Golf Club, Briarwood C.C., Burlington C.C., Carroll C.C., Elmwood C.C., Fort Dodge C.C., Geneva Golf & C.C., Lake Panorama National G. C., Lake Creek C.C., Mason City C.C., Newton C.C., Ottumwa C.C., and Spencer C.C. when your tee time is arranged by Head Pro Jason Marvelli.

Golf Initiation Fee: $500 (may be paid over 4 months); Social Initiation Fee: $100
A Family Membership covers the following:
1. |
A legally married husband and wife. |
2. |
Unmarried children living with the Club member and either under 18 years of age or attending high school full time, (including three months after graduation.) |
3. |
Exception – This membership covers any member of the family under 23 years of age and still living with the Club member and attending college. He/she must be carrying a full load of course toward a college undergraduate degree in order to qualify for this exception.
Other exceptions will be considered by petition of the Board. |
CARTS AND CART SHEDS
There is currently a
waiting list for cart shed spaces.
A yearly cart seat rental fee is available: $500 for 1 person or $750
for a couple.
Member owned carts are allowed.
The current trail/storage fees are:

Cart Shed - $260/yr gas is included in each case.
There are currently a few cart shed spaces available. Contact the Chair of the Cart Shed Committee, Brian Poindexter, (962-0405) or PGA Pro Jason Marvelli (961-3303) about availability.
COURSE EXPANSION TO 18 HOLES
Construction of a second nine holes began in September 2002. Seeding was completed by early October 2003. The new holes opened for limited play on May 19, 2004 and for fulltime play on June 29, 2004. The new holes play as holes 2-10 of the 18 hole layout.
INDIANOLA COUNTRY CLUB ACTIVITIES
Friday Dinner / Sunday Brunch - Friday Dinner will be offered during the Summer in 2010. A Sunday Brunch is scheduled periodically. Check the monthly newsletter. Reservations required. Call 961-3303
Lunch - Lunch is available Thursday-Saturday from 11am - 2pm unless a large event held upstairs has the kitchen occupied. During the winter lunch is served upstairs. During the summer the grill may be open additional hours. Cold sandwiches and hotdogs are available regularly during the golf season.
Ladies Day - Wednesday is Ladies Day from May 1 to September 15th. Only women may tee off after 12 noon. Men teeing off before noon may complete their round and they should be off the course by around 4:00 pm. The Clubhouse remains open to all until 3:00 pm. Men finishing their round after 3 pm may go briefly to the locker room, but should not hang out in the bar area. In the summer there is an evening Women’s League. Dinner is available during the summer and at monthly Stagettes in the Winter.
Men’s Day - Thursday is Men’s Day from May 1 to September 16th. Only men may tee off after 12 noon. Women teeing off before noon may complete their round and they should be off the course by around 4:00 pm. The Clubhouse remains open to all until 3:00 pm. Women finishing their round after 3 pm may go briefly to the locker room, but should not hang out in the bar area. The Men’s Golf Association holds periodic events on Thursdays. Check your calendar. Lunch and dinner are available all year and during the Winter there are good crowds for dinner, cards, and watching ball games.
Men’s League -Tuesday night (May-August) there is a men’s league. The course is not closed but the 1st tee is usually crowded from about 4:30 pm until 5:30 pm. With the second nine open, it is much easier to tee of Tuesday evenings.
Junior Golf - During June, July, and August the East 9 is reserved for juniors from 7:30-9 am. There is also a week long Junior Golf Clinic run by our PGA Head Professional Jason Marvelli. This is an excellent chance to get children started off with golf the right way. Look for information in the May newsletter or in the clubhouse.
Couples 2-Balls - These are 9 hole events held on Friday or Saturday nights about twice a month with the format chosen by the hosting couples. Check the calendar for dates and times.
Tournaments Dances and Special Events - Check your calendar, monthly newsletter, and club bulletin boards.
Social “Hours” - During the winter the Club usually has a small after work crowd on Monday and Tuesday and large crowd on Friday. “Happy Hour” is from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. The Friday crowd usually includes a large number of couples who may then go out to dinner. On Saturdays in the winter there is usually a good crowd for lunch, playing cards, and watching the ball games. |
